Bromans’ Crackerjack Jones sets track record at Finger Lakes

FARMINGTON, N.Y. – Crackerjack Jones scored his third consecutive victory in a track record time at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack on Wednesday. The Christopher Progno-trainee won the eighth race by six and one-half lengths in a one mile and one-quarter time of 2:05.10

The $184,930 earner owned by Chester and Mary Broman broke a 27 year old record held by Caramba. Carmba established the mark on July 11, 1987 with a time of 2:05.20.

Crackerjack Jones earned his sixth victory in his 13th career start and paid $3.70, $2.80 and $2.30. Moneyinyour Pocket was a distant second and returned $5.30 and $3.10. Baime finished third and paid $3.00.
