Gary was a vibrant larger-than-life figure and instrumental to the launch of Unbridled TV which eventually made its way to national broadcasts on HRTV. He truly truly loved his horses with all his heart and left behind some of the most gorgeous barns I’ve ever seen! A kind, generous man his smile and style brought joy to all who knew him. RIP.

Saw Gary in August of 2012 at his beautiful farm – my daughter, Gretchen, and I were on our way to Saratoga. Had a wonderful visit with him and am so sorry to learn of his death. He will be missed but has found a new home with many beautiful horses and all the things he loved. Karlene Mullen

I met Gary at an auction in upstate New york back in 1985. Although I lost contact in recent years, I truly enjoyed Gary’s friendship and his enthusiasm for life. His positive energy and unique flair made him a most enjoyable character to call a friend. I love you Gary and will miss you always but I take comfort in knowing how much you enjoyed life!

Gary was a longtime client of OakenCroft and we will miss him so much. We shared so many laughs and cries with him. He was warm and welcoming to all and treated his horses with true love. You always added extra time on to any appointment to just chat, and you looked forward to it all day. Godspeed my friend.
