Chris Englehart, acting on behalf of My Purple Haze Stables, purchased a short yearling by New York sire War Dancer for $40,000 in Wednesday’s open session of the 2020 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s Winter Mixed sale.

Bustin It, a colt by Bustin Stones, won the Rockville Centre Stakes as a juvenile and has earned over $300,000. A gelded full brother Bust Another earned nearly $400,000 and won the Mike Lee Stakes in 2016. May Shares, a filly by Stonesider, won an open turf stakes at Belmont.

War Dancer, a multiple graded stakes winner and millionaire by War Front, stands as part of the Irish Hill & Dutchess Views Stallions roster at Irish Hill Century Farm in Stillwater for a 2020 stud fee of $7,500.

The War Dancer, who earned $1,068,927, won or placed in nine graded stakes, including the $500,000 Virginia Derby. His first foals are 2-year-olds of 2020
