Market Rally to stand at Irish Hill Century Farm

Press Release

The graded stakes-winning son of Unbridled’s Song, Market Rally, has been retired and will take up stud duty at Irish Hill Century Farm in Stillwater. He will be added to the Stallion Roster managed by Irish Hill & Dutchess Views Stallions LLC.

Market Rally raced for Sheik Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, winning three of his four starts before being retired due to loss of cartilage and tendon sheath from a poisonous spider bite. He demolished the field in the Grade 3 UAE 2000 Guineas, winning the one-mile race on the dirt by five widening lengths over a tough international group.

Market Rally is out of the stakes placed mare Boodles, a speedy grand-daughter of sires Gone West and Phone Trick. He is from the family of champion millionaires A Fleets Dancer and Bessarabian.

Market Rally’s 2018 stud fee has been set at $3,000 live foal stand and nurse.

“We are excited to stand this international dirt miler his first season at stud and have priced him to give owners who breed in New York good value for their money. He is a 16.1 hand chestnut Unbridled’s Song that fills his frame, has great angles, and stands over a lot of ground” said Stallion Manager Bill Leak.

The deal was brokered by Caitlyn Spivey of EA Bloodstock with help from Ashley Sooknanan.
