Sequel Stallions New York has released the 2017 stud fees for stallions standing at the farm, and set the date for its annual Stallion Showcase for January 21.
Freud, New York’s leading sire by earnings, turf, and AEI will remain at $10,000. The versatile full brother to Giant’s Causeway once again has progeny earnings exceeding $5 million.
Darley stallions, Alpha, the multiple Grade 1-winning son of Bernardini will stand for $7,500, while Emcee, the record breaking Grade 1 son of Unbridled’s Song will stand for $5,000.
Unbridled’s Song’s Grade 1-performing millionaire and New York’s leading freshman sire of 2016, Mission Impazible will stay at $7,500.
New York’s hometown hero and multiple graded stakes winner, Forty Tales will remain at $6,500. His first crop are 2-year-olds of 2017. Stephanoatsee, will stand privately for Mr. Leonard Riggio’s My Meadowview LLC.
New for 2017 is Grade 2 Jim Dandy winner Laoban, who will stand for $7,500. Laoban is by sire sensation Uncle Mo, out of three-quarter sister to Grade 1 I’m a Chatterbox, Chattertown.

All fees are Live Foal/Stands & Nurses. Multiple mare discounts are available as well as incentives for repeat breeders.
The stallions will be available for inspection at the annual Stallion Showcase on January 21, 2017 at Sequel Stallions New York in Hudson.
As that is a busy weekend for stallion shows in New York, the hours have been extended to 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. This year’s showcase will be a big Cajun Party with fresh seafood gumbo, straight from the bayous of Louisiana.
