Diamond M Stable announced Saturday today that their MGSW/G1SP son of War Front, War Dancer (War Front – Deed I Do by Alydeed), winner of yesterday’s Presidents’ Cup at Parx Racing, will be retired at the end of this year and will take up stud duties at Lere Visagie’s Rockridge Stud in Hudson beginning with the 2017 breeding season.
War Dancer will be the first son of War Front to stand in the Empire State and is currently the sire’s leading earner on the turf, with over $1 million in career earnings. A stud fee will be announced at a later date.
