Group 2 winner Midas Touch (GB) will stand at Rockridge Stud in Hudson, NY in 2016, as announced on Tuesday. The 6yo son of Galileo is relocating from KY.
Midas Touch (Galileo (IRE) – Approach (GB) by Darshaan (GB)), a stakes winner at 2, won the Gr.2 Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at 3, and was multiple Gr.1 placed at 3 and 4.
Says Rockridge’s Lere Visagie, “Midas Touch adds a different sire line and physical type to our roster. He will be the only son of Galileo standing in New York and gives our breeders a great opportunity to bring in European bloodlines.”
Midas Touch previously stood at War Horse Place in Lexington, KY and will have his first 2-year-olds in He will stand for a fee of $3,500 LFSN.
