Repole Stable and Rockridge Stud announced Monday that Micromanage will stand at Rockridge Stud in Hudson beginning in 2016.

In a deal brokered by Bowling Bloodstock, Micromanage, a son of Medaglia d’Oro who won the Grade 3 Skip Away Stakes at Gulfstream in 2014 and finished third in the 2013 Grade 1 Haskell Invitational Stakes, will join Repole’s successful freshman stallion Giant Surprise at Rockridge.

Micromanage (Medaglia d’Oro – Catnip by Flying Paster) broke his maiden as a 2-year-old in his first start at Saratoga in a maiden special weight. In his career, he was second in the Grade 2 Brooklyn Invitational Stakes at Belmont, third in the Grade 3 Greenwood Cup Stakes at Parx, and third in the 2013 Grade 3 Discovery H. at Aqueduct.

Micromanage won at distances from 7 furlongs to 1 3/4 miles, won 5 stakes races, and posted five triple-digit Beyers. He also hails from the female family of Hennessy and will be the only graded stakes-winning son of top sire Medaglia d’Oro standing in New York.

“I’m really excited to stand Micromanage in New York. Micromanage had a great race career, excellent pedigree, and impressive conformation,” said Mike Repole. “I’m excited to allow breeders to participate in Micromanage by selling a limited number of breeding rights under a ‘Share the Upside’ program. I plan to support him, as I do my other stallions.” Repole’s stallions include Giant Surprise, Overdriven, Overanalyze, Stay Thirsty, and Uncle Mo.

Micromanage retires with a record of 30-7-4-6 and earnings of $790,551. He will stand for a fee of $5,000 live foal stands and nurses.
