Winslow B. Stevens, DVM, of Keane Stud Operations LLC has announced that Philippe Lasseur, long-time farm manager, has become a co-owner and full partner in their New York Thoroughbred breeding business.
Lasseur started as farm manager at Keane Stud in 1987 and is one of the longest-tenured managers in New York. He and Dr. Stevens have worked together as manager and veterinarian since 1989 and, since 2007, as manager and general manager/owner of the Keane Stud facility.
“Philippe has always been the driving force behind Keane Stud, and assuming an ownership role is just another step in his career in the Thoroughbred industry,” said Dr. Stevens.
