Rockridge Stud announced that graded stakes winner Soaring Empire has produced his first foal, a bay colt out of In Your Eyes (Vision and Verse) foaled on Jan. 24.
Owned and bred by Dan Bearden, the colt is the mare’s third foal and issues from the female family of multiple Grade 1 winner Delmora.
Soaring Empire, a half-brother to 2012 multiple graded stakes winner Hungry Island, was bred by Emory Hamilton and won the 2011 Grade 3 Hal’s Hope Stakes. He stands at Rockridge Stud in Hudson for a 2014 fee of $3,500.
