Saratoga Stud and McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds issued releases this week about their upcoming stallion shows, which will both take place on January 25 and 26. The announcements follow below.
SARATOGA STUD LLC PUTS NEW FACILITY & STALLIONS ON DISPLAY, JANUARY 25 & 26
C. Lynwood O’Cain, DVM, wife Suzie O’Cain and partner Rick Burke will open their new stallion complex at Saratoga Stud to visitors on Saturday and Sunday, January 25 & 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Stallion marketing and promotions director Suzie O’Cain stated, “We are very excited to showcase our new operation.”
Lunch will be available to visitors both days. One season to each sire will be raffled. Suzie O’Cain added, “We will be making an announcement about an exceptional opportunity for 2014 Breeders utilizing Saratoga Stud stallions.” Saratoga Stud LLC stands NY stalwarts: Bob and John, Congaree, Maybry’s Boy, Stonesider, upcoming second crop sire Cosmonaut and second year sire Smart Bid.

McMAHON OF SARATOGA THOROUGHBREDS: Annual Stallion Show & Open House
McMahon of Saratoga Throughbreds will be open to breeders Saturday & Sunday, January 25 & 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Owners Joe and Ann McMahon said, “This is the weekend to spend in Saratoga visiting the stallion farms as most will be open during various hours to showcase their stallions and facilities. We wanted to take full advantage of the two days and let people know they are welcome at McMahon either day to allow visitors to stop by when it was most convenient for them.”
McMahon stands five stallions: CATIENUS, HERE COMES BEN, JUSTENUFFHUMOR, TEUFLESBERG & UTOPIA, as well as partnering with Sequel on first year sire FORTY TALES.
