Sequel announces 2013 stud fees; Freud to stay at $10,000

Sequel Stallions in Hudson, New York announced the 2013 fees for their five stallions. Freud will continue to stand for his 2012 stud fee of $10,000 in 2013.

Freud, sire of Grade 1 winners Franny Freud and Giant Ryan and of Peruvian champion Zeide Isaac, is New York’s leading sire of graded stakes winners, leading turf sire and leading sire by AEI. His world-wide cumulative progeny earnings are approaching $23 million.

Two Grade 2 stallions moving to Sequel for the 2013 season are standing for $7,500. Desert Party, whose first crop weanlings averaged nearly 5 times the 2013 stud fee in 2012, and millionaire Mission Impazible, who retires this year, join the lucrative New York program in 2013.

Unbridled’s Song – In The Storm, by Storm Cat
