A variety of events sponsored by NYTB (and others) of interest to current and future breeders and owners of New York-breds are scheduled to take place in Saratoga during the race meet.
- On several racetrack dark days NYTB will be conducting Farm Tours – educational visits to area breeding farms. Tentative dates for the NYTB Farm Tours are July 27, August 10 and August 24.
- On Tuesday August 3, you are invited by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association and Fasig-Tipton Company, Inc. to a complementary Equine Tax seminar in the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion from 10:00-11:30 AM. Click here for more details and RSVP information on the NTRA website.
- On Thursday August 5, the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will conduct a New Owner Seminar in Saratoga. Click here for more information about this program on the TOBA website.
- On Saturday August 7, NYTB will host its annual Pre-Sale Cocktail Party before the first session of the New York-Bred Preferred Yearling Sale. Invitations will be mailed out to NYTB members from the NYTB office.
- On Sunday August 8, during the Fasig-Tipton Festival of Racing, Fasig-Tipton, NYRA and NYTB will be presenting a free educational seminar, “Weanlings to Winner’s Circle” from 9:00-11:00 AM. Click here for seminar flyer and reservation information.
- On Sunday August 15, NYTB will be holding its Annual Membership Meeting in the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion from 10:00-12:00 AM. Representatives of NYRA, the New York Breeding and Development Fund and New York Thoroughbred Horseman’s Association will join the NYTB Board and membership to address issues and concerns important to New York breeders and owners.
