Two colts and a filly (including the top-priced New York-bred yearling) came from the first yearling crop of Grade 2-winning millionaire Friendly Island, New York-bred champion older male in 2006 and New York-bred champion sprinter in 2006 and 2007. Friendly Island stands at Sugar Maple Farm in Poughquag for $3,500. The other New York-based sire represented in the sale was Grade 1 juvenile performer and multiple graded-placed Patriot Act, also with his first crop of yearlings. Patriot Act, a son of A. P. Indy is owned by Questroyal Stud and stands for $5,000 at Dutchess Views Farm. The five yearlings sold for an average of $4,180 (sale yearling average, $5,947).

Her black type-placed dam is a half to graded winner Stoneleigh’s Hope (Damascus).

An unnamed two-year old New York-bred filly by Fusaichi Pegasus out of the Devil’s Bag mare Miss Livi (Hip 178) was sold by Paramount Sales (agent) to Viking Stud (agent) for $10,000.
